Coach Richard Wolfert
Mr. Wolfert has been teaching for 10 years. Born in Philadelphia and raised in South Jersey, he graduated from Washington Township High School and received a track scholarship from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In his prime, he ran a 4:05 mile.
Mr. Wolfert is currently working on a Masters in Sport Psychology, and he is a endorsed Speed and Endurance coach. He loves learning and expanding his mind.
Since he was a kid, Mr. Wolfert has wanted to be a physical education teacher. He works hard to make his classes enjoyable so that students will be more motivated to work hard and learn. He loves when a student, child, or adult, struggles for something and eventually, after many attempts and never giving up, accomplishes the task at hand.
Lastly, he is a father to 3 amazing boys--ages, 9, 8 and 5. In his spare time he enjoys running half marathons, playing sports, hiking, camping, taking road trips to explore national parks and beaches. He’s also a huge Philadelphia Sports fan.
